Producer Ovidio Ramírez Ramírez purchased his farm, El Guachipilin, 11 years ago and continues to produce tastier coffee ever year. El Guachipilin is located in San Pedro Necta, one of the best growing areas in Huehuetenango which is known for its diverse micro-climates and warm winds that come from Mexico’s neighboring mountains. This is our first year roasting Ovidio’s coffee and we’re excited to bring this tasty offering back in subsequent years.
This fully-washed coffee, comprised of bourbon and caturra varieties, has aromas of pecan and hazelnut, flavors of cherry and butter, aftertastes of lime and chocolate, a juicy acidity, a silky body and a balanced sweetness.
