We are now roasting our coffee using a new eco - friendly coffee roaster. The Loring Smart System uses 80% less natural gas and greatly reduces the amount of CO₂ emissions released into the atmosphere. This roaster helps us reduce our carbon dioxide emissions by 39,000 pounds per year : this is the same amount of CO₂ which would be released from the combustion of 2000 gallons of gasoline.

Yeah, huh? In other words, better roaster = better tasting coffee = less impact.

By continuing to focus on bean selection, freshness, and carefully controlled, small-batch roasting, we are able to produce coffees with exceptional flavor.

And all that seems pretty cool to us.
